In Loving Memory of Dailey David Lilly III December 12, 1978 – June 1, 2025 Dailey David Lilly III, age 46, of Milledgeville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025, in Cartersville, Georgia. Born on December 12, 1978, in Milledgeville, Dailey was the eldest of four children born to Kathy Helen Lilly and the late Dailey David Lilly Jr. A proud and skilled union boilermaker, Dailey “Wildman” dedicated over two decades of his life to his trade, serving with distinction in the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Local 26, since 2002. Known for his tireless work ethic, craftsmanship, and integrity, Dailey took great pride in every project he contributed to. His hands built more than structures—they helped build communities and lasting bonds among his fellow workers. Above all, Dailey was a devoted family man. He was formerly married to Annabell Molock Neese, and together they were blessed with two children, Hailey Lilly Tidwell and Weston Blake Lilly. As a father and grandfather, Dailey was deeply loving, supportive, and proud. He especially cherished his role as “Pop” to his grandson, Braxdyn Tidwell, with whom he shared a special and joyful bond. Dailey found love and companionship with his beloved partner, Johanna, with whom he shared a deep and meaningful relationship. He cared deeply for her and her children—Ashlynn, Quinnton, Jaxton, and Haegan—and embraced them as his own, reflecting the generous heart that defined him. He is survived by his children, Hailey Tidwell (Tanner) and Weston Blake Lilly; his grandson, Braxdyn Tidwell; his mother, Kathy Lilly; his brothers, Thomas Lilly, Michael Lilly, and Zekiel Lilly; his second family, Patty Molock (Edward Cowart); his beloved partner, Johanna, and her children; along with the entire Boilermaker Brotherhood and countless family members and friends whose lives he touched. He was preceded in death by his father, Dailey David Lilly Jr., and his grandparents, Harold and Mary Sherwood—all of Milledgeville, Georgia. Dailey will be remembered not only for his incredible work ethic and unwavering dedication to his trade but also for his boundless love, loyalty, and the quiet strength he offered to those around him. His legacy is one of compassion, resilience, and deep-rooted family values—a life well lived and deeply missed. A celebration of Dailey’s life will be held at Williams Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 1670 N. Jefferson St., Milledgeville, GA 31061 on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 11 AM. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5 PM to 7 PM. Though Dailey’s presence will be greatly missed, the memory of his kindness, laughter, and unwavering spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
