She attended Atlanta Speech School for the Deaf and John Milledge Academy. While most of her work career was in bookkeeping, Janice was employed at The Club at Lake Sinclair in membership customer service. Janice was a member of Northridge Christian Church formerly Hardwick Christian Church. Janice was a skilled DIYer, enjoyed playing outdoor yard games with family and friends and was an avid Canasta player. She was in several card groups and a Mah Jongg group, enjoyed crocheting, gardening, canning, playing on the lake with friends, her big family gatherings in PCB and the farm, training her sweet golden doodle Sandy and being Meme to her precious grandchildren. Janice was preceded in death by her beloved father, Jack Harris Cox and her eldest daughter, Amanda Hutcheson Hall. She is survived by her mother, Carrie George Cox of Milledgeville; her soulmate, Cliff Noyes of Eatonton, GA; her three daughters, April Marie Smith (Carroll); Amber Simmons (Allen); Averi Hutcheson all of Milledgeville, GA. Five grandchildren, Brett Hall of Brunswick, GA, Sage Purcell, Logan Purcell, Madi Grace Simmons, and Darci Simmons of Milledgeville, GA; as well as stepdaughter, Amanda Noyes Hodges(Rob) and step grandsons, Jack & Connor Hodges of Charleston, SC. Sisters, Jackie Cox Hutcheson (Jack), Joni Cox Smith (Ted); brothers, Curtis Cox ( Vicky), Carl Cox, Craig Cox (Ellen) of Milledgeville, GA; her beloved nieces and nephews and families of Shannon, Corey, Kevin, Ashley, Garrett, Shane, Carli, Amanda and Jack and many more nieces and nephews. Janice was born deaf and she received the gift of hearing in her 40's through a cochlear implant. She also loved the beauty of flowers. Visitation will be held at Williams Funeral Home on Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 6- 8 PM. A Funeral service will be conducted at Northridge Christian Church on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at 3 PM with Rev. Craig Portwood officiating. Burial will follow at Baldwin Memorial Gardens.
