It’s with a heavy heart that I share the news that my daddy Doc-E, has gone to be with the Lord. While it’s hard to put into words the kind of man he was, anyone who knew him knows he was truly one of a kind. Doc had a way about him. if he liked you, you knew it, and if he didn’t… well, you knew that too. He loved his family and friends, he could catch a fish as big as me lol, and he was just all around the best man on this earth that i knew. He left an unforgettable mark on everyone blessed enough to know him. Now, Doc was never one for formalities, and he made it clear he didn’t want a funeral or a viewing. That just wasn’t his style. Instead, we’re going to honor him in a way that’s true to who he was — with a fish fry, good company, and plenty of laughter. So on Saturday, August 16th at 4:30 PM, we’ll be gathering at Doc’s home to celebrate the incredible life he lived. This won’t be a day for tears and sadness — Doc didn’t like crybabies. It will be a day for smiles, for telling stories, for remembering the wild, funny, and loving moments we all shared with him. If you have any pictures of Doc or with Doc, please bring them along. We’d love to see and share those memories. Bring any stories, big or small, that capture the spirit of the man we all loved so much. And if you can, bring a chair so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the evening with us. This day is about coming together, as friends and family, to celebrate that we were lucky enough to have Doc in our lives. Let’s eat, laugh, and share in the joy of knowing that while he’s no longer here with us, his spirit, his humor, and his love will always live on through us. Hold your loved ones close. Tell the stories. Share the hugs. Because sometimes, tomorrow really is too late. We look forward to seeing everyone there, and to filling the air with the kind of laughter and love that Doc would have wanted.
