Billy Don Wise

Billy Don Wise, age 93, of Milledgeville, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022. A Celebration of Life for Billy Wise will be conducted on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the Concord United Methodist Church in Eatonton with Rev. Ed Baker officiating. Interment will be in the Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Concord United Methodist Church on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 1:00pm until the service hour. He was born in Morrow, Billy was born November 17, 1928 to the late Henry Woodfin Wise and the late Sarah Hutchings Wise. Billy was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force. He was retired as an Associate Warden with the United States Bureau of Prisons, and was a member of Concord United Methodist Church in Eatonton. Billy is survived by his wife, Hazel King Wise of Milledgeville ; his daughter, Donna (& David) Nelson of Eatonton and Susan Leeper of Springfield, MO and his son, Phillip Steve Wise of Sparta 6 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren also survive. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that Memorial Contributions be made to Concord United Methodist Church, 466 Pea Ridge Road, SE, Eatonton, GA 31024.
