Leroy Joseph Oltremari, Jr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Leroy Joseph Oltremari, Jr., age 84, formerly of Milledgeville, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2021. A Celebration of Life for Leroy Oltremari will be conducted Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 2:00pm in the Eatonton Seventh Day Adventist Church with Norman Byers officiating. Interment will be privately held in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville. The family will receive friends at the Eatonton Seventh Day Adventist Church on Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm. A native of Lake Village, Arkansas, Leroy was born on March 4, 1937 to the late Leroy Oltremari and the late Pasquina Nicolini Oltremari. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Eddie Oltremari and Victor Oltremari, and by a niece, Robin Oltremari. Leroy was a Hair Stylist and Song Writer, and was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy. Leroy is survived by his sons, Troy Oltremari, and Lee Michael Levio Oltremari ; his daughter, Vanessa Ball ; his grandsons, Chris Oltremari and Anthony Oltremari ; his great grandsons, Derek Tyler Oltremari, Landon Gage Oltremari, and Nathan Alexander Oltremari ; a nephew, Joseph Aaron Oltremari ; his nieces, Jakleen Oltremari, and Barbara Schubert ; his cousins, Ricky Nicolini, and Gloria Oltremari ; a sister-in-law, Arleen Meno-Oltremari. ; his sister-in-Christ, Lillie Hill ; and the rest of his chosen church family. Although, he was not a perfect man, as none of us are, through God’s Grace Leroy was perfectly imperfect. Leroy’s love for God never weakened. His life was surrounded by his love of music, his loving church family, and his friends. Leroy told us that he does not wish for us to be sad upon his departure. He wants for us to celebrate the times that we all had together. He also wants us to remember that this is only temporary…. That he believes we will all be together again, when Jesus calls us home.
