Madeline Bloodworth

November 30, 1931 - March 6, 2019

Madeline Goodwyn Bloodworth, 87, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019. Graveside services will be conducted at 3 PM on Sunday, March 10, 2019 in Baldwin Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:30pm - 2:30pm. Mrs. Bloodworth was a native and lifelong resident of Milledgeville. She was the daughter of the late Tip Campbell Goodwyn and Martha Teck Thornton Goodwyn. She was retired from Century bank, loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. She was the only woman to receive an award from the National Guard for supporting her husband. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, James Pierce Bloodworth of Milledgeville; sister, Mary Jean Beall; daughters, Deborah Wilkinson (Butch) of Milledgeville and Lynn Dickerson (Jimmy Stanley) of Tiger; son, Jeff Bloodworth (Vickey) of Milledgeville; grandchildren, Josh Eady (London), Erin Sciukas (Vinnie), Jay Eady, Jessica Smith (Tripp), Hilary Lancaster (Stuart), Tabitha Strickland (Bill), and Brittney Miller; great grandchildren, Sutton Eady, Briggs and Bank Eady, Hogan and Sophie Sciukas, Harper, Jett, and Sawyer Smith, Leighton and Baylor Lancaster, Alexis Massey, Ella, Hal, and Charlie Strickland; and a number of nieces and nephews. Flowers accepted and for those who wish, expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
