Mrs. Marie Waynette King Ragland, age 56, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM on Friday, September 10, 2021 in Mineral Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Glover officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 PM until the service hour. Mrs. Ragland was a native and lifelong residence of Hancock County. She was preceded in death by her father, John Wayne King, and is survived by her husband, Michael Ragland of Sparta; daughters, Jessie Ligon (Chad) of Hepzibah, and Jill Johnson (Bobby) of Harlem; mother, Ethelyn King of Sparta; sister, Terri Patterson (Kevin) of Eatonton; mother in law, Linda Ragland of Dearing; nephew, Kyle Patterson, and fur babies, Clyde and Sister; and 7 grandchildren.
