Marjorie Faye Durden Owens, age 87, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022. Funeral services for Marjorie Owens will be conducted Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home of Milledgeville with Keegan Spell officiating. Interment will follow in Heritage Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from 10:00 am until the service hour. A native of Lyons, GA, Marjorie was born October 17, 1934 to the late Meadie James Durden and the late Emma Brinson Durden. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Russell Frank Owens. Marjorie had lived at Lake Sinclair for the past 40 years. She was retired from Rheem Manufacturing, and co-owned Owens Trucking Company with her late husband, for whom she served as Dispatcher. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church at Lake Sinclair. Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Saundra (& Bill) Sightler ; by her sons, Jack (& Kathy) Spell and Tommy (& Lisa) Spell ; 11 grandchildren ; and 25 great grandchildren.
