Mrs. Mary Eliza James Kelsey, 71, passed away on October 21, 2019. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 11 AM in the New Vision COGIC Church with Pastor Steve Pearson officiating. Burial will be at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 1PM. Mrs. Kelsey was the daughter of the late Clarence David James and the late Melvenia Stevens James and was preceded in death by a brother, Robert McArthur James. She was a retired LPN from Central State Hospital and had worked for the Georgia War Veterans Home. Mrs. Kelsey was a member of the New Vision COGIC. She is survived by her husband, Aaron Kelsey of Milledgeville; children; Angela James, Gregory Kelsey, and Malissa Kelsey; grandchildren, Gregory Malik Kelsey, Aaron William Kelsey, Demitrius Craig, and Cari’ Yanah Tonae James; siblings, Patricia King (Frank), Sandra Dobbins; sisters in law, Joyce James, and Deloris Bentley; brothers in law, Timothy Kelsey, Jr. (Cathy), Cecil Kelsey (Jackie); and a host of nieces and nephews.
