Michael David Hubbard Sr.

Michael David Hubbard, Sr., age 60, of Jones County, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2019. A native of Tampa, Florida, he was born on August 25, 1958 to the late Julian William Hubbard, Sr. and the late Barbara Faye Eckert Hubbard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael David Hubbard, Jr., and by a brother, Larry Brooks. Michael loved his family more than anything in this life. He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army, and was a member of New Salem Baptist Church in Haddock. Michael is survived by: his wife, Nancy Hubbard of Jones County ; his Son, James Larry “Jimmy” Brooks of Jones County ; 4 Grandchildren ; and his siblings, Jessica Hubbard (& fiancé, Michael Crowder), Marilyn Hubbard, Willie Hubbard (& wife, Sheila), Linda Kitchens (& husband, Randy), John Hubbard (& wife, Tina), Barbara Hubbard, Perry Hubbard, & Patty Hubbard. Funeral Services for Michael David Hubbard will be conducted from the Graveside on Friday, August 9, 2019 at 11:00AM in Cedar Ridge Cemetery in Jones County. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home and Crematory of Milledgeville on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
