Funeral services for Mr. Scott Mixon will be conducted Sunday, June 4,2023 at 2 P.M. in Williams Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brent Wooten officiating., Interment will follow in Heritage Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 P.M. until the funeral hour. Mr. Scott Carroll Mixon age 36 passed away May 30, 2023. he was the son of Garry and Cynthia Kent Mixon, grew up in Eatonton, Georgia. He has one sibling, Kellie Mixon Webb, who resides in Greensboro, Georgia. He was funny, smart, and incredibly hard working. He worked for a small private company as a lineman installing fiber optic cable all over the Southeast. He loved to work and he was especially close to his boss, Mr. Ron Smith, with whom he shared a lot of good memories far beyond work. He also loved gambling, flying, and golfing. He was always up for a game of golf with his friends, a trip to the casino, or a ride on a private plane anywhere. Any other type of adventure you may want to do, he was willing to join you. He truly loved life and he absolutely lived everyday like it was his last. He was always able to make light of life’s troubles with a smile and a laugh. He could make your worries seem small and always encouraged you to enjoy life. He was a person that would check on you regularly and loved to tell you what good things he had going on in his life and wanted to know how your life was going. even if it was 2am. He forgot that we don’t all work at night. He is the type of person that would drop everything to help you. even if it meant completely scrapping his plans for the day. He was a risk taker that could sometimes leave you shaking your head...even more so when he actually did what he said he was going to do. If he said he was going to do something, he did it. He had an “all in” type of personality. He gave this life everything he had and expected absolutely nothing in return. He left nothing on the table. He was the happiest when he could make sure everyone around him was happy. He never slowed down and he never let up...He kept himself busy with something all of the time. He had two dogs that he loved dearly, Molly and Sparkles. They were everything to him and he loved to take them everywhere he went even to work in the bucket truck. There was nothing that he wouldn’t do to make sure they were comfortable and cared for at all times. He loved his family and he reminded them often with his words of just how much he loved each of them.
