William Luke Bache

August 27, 1941 - December 29, 2020

William Luke Bache passed away on December 29, 2020. He was born in Pensacola, Fla. but grew up and lived in Atlanta, Ga. from a young age. "Billy" was a graduate of Southwest High School in Atlanta. He joined the U. S. Marine Corp shortly after graduation and was honorably discharged at the end of his four years of service. Upon returning to Atlanta, he joined the Atlanta Police Department for a few years. He then joined the Fulton County Sheriff's Department in Atlanta where he served the remainder of his career as a County Court Officer. He was predeceased by his parents, George Bingham Bache, Jr. and Naomi Ledbetter Bache, and his youngest brother James T. Lawrence. Billy was a proud member of American Legion Post 1 in Atlanta. Survivors include Daughters, Virginia Bache of Snellville, GA, Barbara Bache Lamb (Jack, Jr.) of Milledgeville, GA, Son, Brian F. Bache of Spanaway, WA., brother G. Bingham Bache, III of Atlanta, GA, sister, Barbara Anne Bache McCalla of Chattanooga, TN, and brother Richard H. Bache of Prattville, AL. Services for Mr. Bache will be announced at a later time."
