Richard Lee Dineley

Richard (Rich) Lee Dineley, III, 62, of Madison, lost his 4 year battle with cancer March 18, 2013. He was at home beside his beloved wife, Candace, when he entered into the arms of the Lord. Richard was born September 2, 1950 to the late Richard Lee Dineley, II and late Virginia Murray Dineley. He was born in San Francisco, California and as a child made his home in many places as he traveled with his parents and siblings to Army bases throughout the world. His teenage years were lived in Huntsville, Alabama. In June, 1970 Richard joined the United States Air Force and service in Crete, Greece as a Sergeant during the Vietnam War as an Arabic Linguist until December 1974, when he was honorable discharged. As an adult, he lived in Maryland, Virginia, Texas, Missouri and settled in 1991 with his lifetime mate in dreamy Historic Madison, Georgia. Richard is survived by his wife of 23 years, Candace Ann Dineley; one daughter, Katherine Anne Dineley of Olney, Maryland; one son, William Michael Dineley of San Francisco, California; one stepson, Shawn Michael Lewis of Marietta, Georgia; and one stepdaughter, Kimberly Ann Chandler also of Marietta, Georgia; two sisters, Patricia Dineley Muscolino of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and Virginia Murray Dineley of Raleigh, North Carolina. During Richard's life, he was employed by Rockwell International of Dallas, Texas, COMSAT of Washington, DC, Sprint Corporation of Kansas City, Missouri, and British Telecom of London, England. He then formed his own business, delta Vectors, LLC in 1993 and continued his business until his passing. Richard was recently and Instructor, Becker CPA Review-DeVry University and a Finance and Business Instructor at Georgia Military College. Memorial Services will be held at Center Pointe Church in Madison, Georgia, officiated by Dr. Richard Smith on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at eleven o'clock in the morning. Burial will e at Johannestal Cemetery in Hillsboro, Kansas officiated by Jeff Issac of Riverlawn Christian Church in Wichita, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in honor of Richard Lee Dineley, III to Center Pointe Church, 1331 Lions Club Road, Madison, Georgia 30650.
